Production Log 5
This week was a interesting week because we began recording and we had our days planned out, but the English weather struck and it held us up for a few days leaving us near the end of the week to record, but we overcome this by getting all the recording done in one day that we thought would take two days. It also helped that our actors lived right next to Romford because it was only like a 10 minute walk making it easier to record. The problem that i had encountered was we was going to record on a day where i went to my mum and dads but we worked round this because we recorded the day i came back it helped because our actors also chose media so they took our work serious and allowed us to get on with the recording. We followed our script very well but we did take out some scenes because they did not make sense but in the end we replaced the shots which we decided would suit our film better, in the end we got all our recording done and we made sure to overshoot so when we come to editing next week we can choose the best bits from the lot and put it in, this helps because we have different shots of the same thing.

Production Log 4
This week me and my partner have been working hard on our shooting script going through it and checking if there were any mistakes, we eventually saw mistakes we made them and quickly corrected them leaving us with a script that we both agreed on that would work, we than filled in where we are shooting and if we needed any permission for our shots, we had our actors sign a permission slip giving us their permission to be in the film, overall this week has been a good and successful week because when we ran into problems we were able to overcome them and we got all our work done, next week we are planning to complete all of our recording ready to come and edit, during this week we also filled out a sheet of all the hazards that could possibly happen in the locations we are filming, we filled in as much as we could think of for each location and how much of a risk does it show. So really this week we are on a good schedule and not running behind, next week is half term so this will allow us to have full days to record which on our hand is great because in our scenes we need a bright day to emphasis our song better, so very good week and we already have next week planned to get the recording done so we have run into no problems that could prevent us from completing our work.

Permission
For houses we don't need permission because they our own houses and we need them to record so no permission is needed, Romford we don't need permission and the same as the park because these are public locations and therefore we can record in these locations, so therefore we don't need permission for our shots that we have chosen.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
In our music video their will be four of us, this consists of Me, Connor, Monique & Kori.
I am the chosen role of director because i am a more mature and will work hard to get our music video complete but because also it is my song that we chose to do and i know how i would want it to look, i can also work around thing if something goes wrong, as i have done media before i know what it should take to get good shots for our music video because we have done projects like this before but not music videos.
Connor is going to be the camera man because he has done media before i can trust him to work on the camera and i will be there to help him also so we can get good shots for our music video, he knows all the camera shots and angles which is perfect for us and we have worked in groups before so i do trust him on the camera.
Kori & Monique, will be our actors and we chose them because they are reliable but also what we need in our song because our song is about love and we need a couple with that connection and because they are a couple its better than choosing people who aren't because they might not be willing to do things such as holding hands or anything and it could look awkward.

Production Log Week 3
From last week me and my partner were working on our music video, this was working on a shooting script that will help us when recording, at the moment we are still working on it and this week we have added in a lot more than what we done last week and we moved things around so that it would make more sense, in order to make it more interesting we have shots changing location every 10 shots or so, this stops it from being in one location and being boring for our audience, we are hoping to finish the shooting script this week so that we can move onto recording sooner, we have already got our cast for music video which is very helpful, we also chose Kori and Monique because they are very trustworthy people and we know that, if we picked people who we cant rely on than we most likely wouldn't be able to finish the recording because they wouldn't show up, so for us now we are on a steady track, we are not behind or in front of our plans we are just on point, there is also a good chance we will be able to start recording next week which is perfect for us because after next week we have a week off school were we can start recording and get all our shots ready to come back into school to begin editing, so for now we are on a good steady track.

Production Log Week 2
As of this week we have started on our script for the music video, this consists of us using different camera language and different shots to match the song we have chosen, last week we decided what song we would pick and we picked mine so this week we have been trying to script out our ideas so that when we come to recording the music video we will know how it will look and what we have to do as we can follow the script. The hard part about doing this script is that we must come up with different shots that move smoothly but also matches the songs speed, so when me and my partner are writing out the script we exchange ideas and we go with the one that sounds more realistic, as the song we chosen is fairly slow we will need to come up with about 100-150 shots this is roughly 2 second's per shot, the reason for having so many is because their is a specific beat that we are following, in my song the main instrument is a piano and you can hear the piano every 2-3 second's, so every time you hear the piano key we will change shot so its basically cutting to the beat but to the piano, this will make our music video run smoothly as the sound and the visual will be working together allowing the audience to stay focused, this stops them from just watching the clips and blanking out the song.
